While much of the region has changed, life in Phoenix Valley continues to follow the rhythm of the seasons.

Rice is planted and harvested.

Rice wine is still made.

Animals roam freely through the valley.

The landscape visitors enjoy today is the result of decades of care by a single family.

Mr. Phoenix, a local farmer in Phoenix Valley near Tam Coc, maintaining farming equipment in the valley his family has cultivated for more than 30 years.

Before Phoenix Valley became a destination, it was simply home.

For more than 30 years, Mr. Phoenix and his family have lived here, growing rice, making rice wine, and adapting to the rhythms of nature.

Through floods, droughts, and changing times, they have remained connected to the valley and the traditions passed down through generations.

Today, visitors are invited not only to explore Hope Cavern and the surrounding landscape, but also to discover the story of the family who made this hidden valley their home.

Rice farming, rice wine making, fishing, free-ranging animals, and daily life continue much as they have for decades.
